Want to drive for Uber or Lyft but don’t have a car that qualifies? Sudgo Drive is building weekly plans made for rideshare drivers in Austin. Join the waitlist and we’ll text you when they open.
Join the waitlistUber and Lyft have their own vehicle and insurance rules, and most regular rental agreements don’t allow rideshare driving. That’s why we’re setting up rideshare plans separately instead of just saying “yes” to any rental. When they open, the plan will say clearly that rideshare use is allowed and what’s covered.
Check the box “I want to use the car for Uber, Lyft, DoorDash or other gig work” on the waitlist so we know to reach out about these plans first.
Gig income comes in weekly, so a weekly plan lines up with how you get paid.
ID and driving record check in the Sudgo Drive app, so you’re not waiting on a counter.
Verify your ID and driving record in the Sudgo Drive app.
Choose weekly or monthly and see the full price, tax included, before you pay.
Pick it up, take check-in photos, and go.
Give notice in the app, return the car, get your deposit back after inspection.
Not yet. Rideshare use is only allowed on plans that say so, and those aren’t open yet. Join the waitlist to be first when they are.
Uber and Lyft provide coverage while you’re on a trip, and the rental plan covers the car under its own terms. The rideshare plan will spell this out before you sign.
A valid driver’s license, a driving record that passes our check, a debit or credit card, and you must be at least 21. Uber and Lyft also have their own driver requirements.
